Following the announcement of the shortlist and a successful screening procedure, candidates will receive brief training to help them prepare for the monumental task ahead.
For freshly recruited officers, the training camp will also act as an orientation camp.
For the 2023 recruitment training, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency is inviting shortlisted candidates.
The training activity is mandatory for all shortlisted candidates. Candidates who do not participate in the training exercise will be automatically disqualified.

NDLEA Training Date 2023
Between Friday, 3 December 2021 and Monday, December 6, 2021, all successful applicants for the two categories (Narcotic Officer cadre and first batch of Narcotic Assistant cadre) must report for training at the NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, Jos in Plateau State.

NDLEA Training Requirements 2023
All selected candidates (Narcotic Officers and Assistants) are required to go to the NDLEA Academy in Kotton Rikus, Jos, with original and photocopies of the following documents:

Credentials

NDLEA online application reference slip.

Four copies of 5 by 7 colour photographs without a cap/hat,
-
Writing materials include biro, pencils, a ruler, notebooks and a file jacket.

Three pairs of white (unmarked) round-neck vests and navy blue shorts (without stripes) and two pairs of white and black socks.
Two pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable), two white bedsheets and pillowcases, two black trousers and white long sleeve shirts,
One blanket (grey or army green colour), two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wear with shoes, and buckets.
Including cutlasses, and brooms to be purchased on arrival, some pocket money and toiletries, and two black cloth facemasks are among the other requirements.
COVID-19 protocols must be followed by all successful candidates. Those who do not report by 06:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2021, will be disqualified.
