SSS Recruitment Application Eligibility for 2023

You must possess these criteria to be eligible to apply for the 2023/2024 SSS recruitment exercise.

• You must be a Nigerian by birth and must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) obtained from an approved institution. This degree should be in a relevant field or discipline related to the position being applied for.

• Alternatively, applicants can have a Higher National Diploma (HND) obtained from an approved institution. The HND should be in a field or discipline related to the position being applied for.

• Another acceptable qualification is an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) obtained from an approved institution. Like the B.Sc. and HND, the OND should be in a field or discipline related to the position being applied for.

In addition to the educational qualifications mentioned above, interested applicants must also meet the following criteria related to their secondary school education:

• Credit Passes: Applicants must have obtained at least five credit passes in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), or General Certificate of Education (GCE). These credit passes should be in relevant subjects related to the position being applied for.

• Multiple Sittings: The credit passes must have been obtained at more than two sittings. This means that the applicant should have taken the required subjects in different examination sessions and achieved the required credit passes at each sitting.

• Mathematics and English Language: Among the credit passes obtained, the applicant must have achieved a credit pass in Mathematics and English Language. These two subjects are considered essential and are required for most positions.

OTHER REQUIREMENT FOR HEIGHT AND MEDICAL STATUS

• Applicants who wish to apply for the specified position must meet certain requirements. For male applicants, a minimum height of 1.7 meters is mandatory. Female applicants, on the other hand, must have a minimum height of 1.64 meters.
