Federal Fire Service Training Date: The FFS 2023/2024 respective venue, requirements, and locations for Federal Fire Service training are now available. This publication provides information on how to check the FFS training dates and locations for shortlisted candidates.

To begin, shortlisted candidates are advised to visit the official website of the Federal Fire Service at www.fedfire.gov.ng.

Candidates who have successfully gone through the screening process conducted by the Federal Fire Service for the 2023 recruitment exercise will be invited to participate in a training assessment. It is crucial to acknowledge that this screening process is an essential step in ensuring that only qualified candidates move forward in the recruitment process.

However, individuals who have passed the screening process should be aware that they are required to report to their respective training camps. These training camps are specifically designated for the purpose of preparing individuals for entry into the Federal Fire Service.

FFS Training Centers 2023

The Federal Fire Service has announced that training activities will be conducted in all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the skills and capabilities of firefighters across the country.

Candidates who have been selected for the training program are advised to report to their respective training centers a day before the scheduled training date.

FFS Training Requirements 2023

Candidates are recommended to bring the following documentation to the training camp:

  • Original and photocopy of their credentials

  • Two Recent Passport Photographs

  • Duly completed, the Guarantor’s Form

  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age

  • Certificate of origin

It is essential for candidates to take the training seriously and actively participate in all activities as instructed by the Federal Fire Service. This will ensure that they acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively carry out their duties as firefighters.

We also recommend all those selected for this exercise wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the training sessions, as they may involve practical exercises and simulations.

It is important to note that the 2023/2024 FFS training activities are designed to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to effectively respond to fire incidents and emergencies.

It is crucial for candidates to be punctual and arrive at their designated training centers on time. This will ensure that the training program can commence smoothly and that candidates can fully benefit from the training sessions.

  2. Birth certificate
  3. Certificate of state of origin.
  4. Completed copies of the print outs from the portal including guarantor forms.
  5. 2 pairs each of plain white T shirts and blue shorts.
  6. A pair each of white canvass and white socks.
